I received a Bond Ultimate Sweater Machine for Christmas, and I have been out of control since!  Many new machines have joined it and at least one more on the way!

I started hand knitting over 50 years ago, and love it, but having suffered several injuries to my spine and neck, plus other chronic health problems,  had to give it up, as it had become very painful.  I missed it so much, and then discovered knitting machines, and can now knit again!

Since getting my first knitting machine, I've gotten the urge to hand knit again, but am only doing small projects, and limiting the amount of time spent at one sitting, and in one day, so can still fulfill my urge to hand knit, but not feel the frustration of it taking so long to complete a project.

I hope you will enjoy my knitting website, and visit often.  I will try to keep it current, and hope to provide some good information as I come across it.

Since I first wrote this, many other machines have joined my little group, and they are starting to overrun my little home, so many must go to new homes soon.  I will miss them, but sometimes we have to make tough choices, and right now I have to.

If you have a plastic bed knitting machine, or are looking for one, come join my group for them and learn more.

I also have another love, sewing machines, and have many of them, and will be thinning those out too, as I'm able.

The one shown in the photo below is one of my favorites, and I'll never (should we ever say never!) part with it.  I put it in a cabinet from 1939 which originally had an electric machine in it, and I put a hand crank on this machine to be able to use it in that cabinet.
